Tasting Time: 1600
Tasting: Neat
Nose:
Lovely and elegant smell of ginger, and citrus fruits. Full of spice, little bit of mint. After 5 minutes, some dried fruits, like plum started to appear, spirity dried fruits. Hints of cinnamon, very interesting and complex. More wood coming off after 10 minutes, at the same time a lot more fruitier. / 23.0
Palate:
Very fresh palate, and very soft texture. Silky. Fruity, peach, apricot, bit of nutty. Light oaky notes, not a bad thing here. Plenty of spices, milk chocolate, with some candy sweetness. Licorice. / 22.5
Finish:
A slight bitterness, coupled with some nuttiness. Orange peel, tea leaves. / 17.0
Balance:
I was pretty impressed with the nose, complex and elegant. The palate is up to the mark as well. Overall very elegant and palatable. / 21.5
Price:
The price is very affordable for such an old age single cask whisky, bottled at cask strength. / 4.2
Final Verdict:
Elegant and complex, fresh and fruity. A very good presentation of Bunnahabhain. This whisky required your full attention, and it needs time to open up. Do not rush it. Enjoy it slowly. / 88.2

Nose: Very prominent sherry notes, dried fruits, sweet dates, nice oak notes. Plum, prunes, overiped fruits. Close to the nose of a quality
